A team of specialist artists run weekly dance and drama sessions, accessible to all, with many opportunities to showcase performance work at platforms throughout the Midlands.

Laura holds a BA HONS Dance and Theatre Arts degree and has been delivering dance and theatre work for over 15 years. She has worked in many educational settings and continues to do so delivering dance theatre work in West Midlands Primary and Secondary schools plus colleges, communty settings and with a variety of organisations.
Laura has extensive teaching, choreography and performance skills gathering them over her career working with Youth Dance England, Dance United, DanceXchange Birmingham, Stagecoach, Sampad, Leaps and Bounds, Dudley Performing Arts - to name but a few. She is a highly experienced passionate Dance Artist with a flare for leading dance to all.
Laura is really proud of Unfold and its developments and cannot wait to see how the company continues to grow each year!

Catherine gained her degree at Wolverhampton University and achieved BA (Hons) Dance and Drama. She has been performing from a young age in a variety of shows. She has been a member of Summerhill Choral Society for many years taking on roles such as Carmen in Bizet’s Carmen and Mme Thenardier in Les Miserables in their annual productions. From 2011 Catherine has choreographed and assisted with the direction of their productions such as Evita, Phantom of the Opera and Copacabana.
Catherine has been delivering dance, music and theatre work in primary and secondary schools for six years, working for companies and organizations including Team Productions Musical Theatre and Unfold Dance and Drama. She has been with the Unfold Dance Theatre company since 2007.
Catherine has a passion for the performing arts and for sharing that passion with others. She loves all styles of dance and particularly contemporary dance and she hopes that her choreography continually challenges her dance students. She gives support to her dancers and is proud of their achievements, helping them to improve themselves but most importantly to love and enjoy dance.

Nikki currently holds both a BA Hons in Dance and Professional practice, as well as a PGCE in Post Compulsory education. She has been delivering dance and theatre work in primary and secondary schools for almost three years, working for companies and organisations such as Unfold Dance and Drama, Stage Coach, Dudley Performing Arts and The Black Country Dance Hub.
With a keen interest in all aspects of Contemporary dance, Nikki is really able to challenge all dancers with her choreography.
Nikki is extremely proud of all her dance groups, supporting them as much as she can in and out of dance. Nikki’s next challenge is to progress the group further by entering them into many dance festivals and performances, as possible, therefore enhancing their Unfold experience!'
TONI ALONZO
DRAMA ARTIST WITH
UNFOLD JUNIOR AND YOUTH DRAMA HALESOWEN
Toni trained at University of Wolverhampton and achieved BA HONS in Drama and Performance. Toni has been performing for over 10 years and has been teaching for nearly 6 years. She has been involved in numerous Theatre Companies around the Black Country and Wolverhampton.
Toni is currently working in education, but is also a Drama Teacher and Professional Actor with The National Trust.
In 2013, Toni trained to be an Arts Award Adviser and can deliver Discover through Gold Arts Awards. Toni currently delivers Discover and Bronze Arts Awards at The Earls High School, a project that has been very successful.
LUCY ELLIOTT
DRAMA ARTIST WITH UNFOLD YOUTH DRAMA DUDLEY
Lucy studied at the University of Northampton where she gained a Ba (Hons) in Acting. Throughout her training and professional career Lucy has worked with several theatre companies, in both performances and workshops. Lucy works for the education department of a museum and is currently a professional actor for the National Trust, as well as working on other local heritage projects.
Lucy has been delivering drama workshops for 6 years, and helps Unfold with their drama work within schools. She loves to see a students self confidence and skills grow, and has a passion for writing scripts that are both fun and challenging.
ALL STAFF ARE DBS CLEARED AND HOLD THEIR OWN PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE. WE ALL HAVE VAST EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WITHIN BOTH EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNITY SETTINGS.
