The Unfold Youth Dance Dudley group is one of our longest established youth groups, led in partnership with Ellowes Hall School, and first formed in 2013. 

The group is continuing to work on contemporary dance techniques, fusing different styles of dance and using professional works as influences for choreography.  More evidence of their class work will be posted soon! 

The group range from ages 13 upwards and experience weekly class that develops 

• dance technique 

• understanding of the human body, basic anatomy

• self confidence and body awareness

• the technical language of dance theatre 

• fitness, stamina and exercise

• performance skills 

• choreographic and compositional skills  

• appreciation and evaluation skills 

   

The Unfold Youth Dance groups also experience work that supports their dance studies at school and college, such as GCSE, BTEC and A level dance support.
